The School of Economics and Technology is located in the city of Tripoli. It supervises and coordinates the operation of four Departments, the Department of Economic Sciences, the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, the Department of Digital Systems and the Department of Administrative Science and Technology.
Department of Informatics and Telecommunications
Based in Tripoli
The mission of the Department is the cultivation of computer science, computer systems for processing and transmitting information, as well as their applications for the training of scientists for the needs of the economy, research, industry and education.
Department of Economic Sciences

The Department of Economic Sciences is a modern academic center that promotes academic knowledge and scientific research and application in the fields related to Economics and Politics.
Department of Administrative Science and Technology
Based in Tripoli
The Department offers a modern 4-year undergraduate program, which combines the scientific knowledge of Administrative Science, Economics and Technology in order to prepare specialized executives, capable of receiving effective decisions, for the benefit of the state, business and economy, using the modern environment of decision-making methods, technology and applications, as well as to cultivate and promote academic knowledge and scientific research and application in the related knowledge areas.
Department of Digital Systems
Based in Sparta
The main objective of the Undergraduate Program of the Department of Digital Systems is to provide fundamental and specialized knowledge in the science and technology of modern computing and telecommunication systems. The curriculum targets the areas of computer hardware and software, computer science, information and telecommunication systems, signal processing, networks and internet services. Graduates have the same established professional rights as graduates of the Departments of Informatics or Computer Science.
